Creativity cannot flourish without failure

14 Oct

This talk by Ken Robinson is one of the most inspiring and insightful I have ever heard. He says that “if you’re not prepared to be wrong, you’ll never come up with anything original”. His target of reproach is our education system, where “mistakes are the worst thing you can make”.

Ken offers a much-needed perspective on the importance of failure – it helps us to learn. We cannot flourish as creative beings without being willing to make a few mistakes.
